Mastering:
During the recording and mixing process songs are created one at a time which can result I tracks that peak at different levels and have different EQ’s. Mastering unifies your record to give it a consistent sound track-to-track. During the process the mastering engineer applies corrective equalization and dynamic compression (if necessary) to achieve translation on all playback systems.
